Requirements
What you need to get started:
$1,000,000.00 in Auto-Liability & $100,000.00 in Cargo Coverage
This is the minimum requirement. If you’d like to have more peace of mind with higher coverage, that’s fine by us.
Signed ‘Dispatcher Carrier Agreement’ & Power of Attorney
Why do I need to sign this?
First, you can rest assured, this is NOT a contract. Our services are month-to-month. If you are dealing with a reputable company, an agreement should always be set in place that spells out exactly who is responsible for what. This way everyone is protected. There is absolutely no penalty for discontinuing service. And the ‘Limited Power of Attorney’ is needed so that we can sign ‘Setup Paperwork’ with Shippers/Brokers that you may not already be setup with & so we can sign rate confirmations on your behalf.
NOA Notice of Assignment From Factoring Company
The Notice of Assignment is a simple letter that the factor company will send to your customers whose invoices you are factoring. The notice informs your customers in writing that the accounts receivable have been assigned and future payments should be made payable to the factoring company.
